We are looking for entrepreneurs who are motivated to solve "INACOME" regional issues!

press release

December 22, 3rd year of Reiwa Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries will match entrepreneurs with regional issues in the entrepreneurship promotion program "INACOME" in order to promote efforts that contribute to solving issues in rural areas. We are pleased to inform you that we will start recruiting entrepreneurs who have ideas to solve regional issues from today.

1. Purpose

Agricultural and fishing villages nationwide have various problems such as labor shortage, devastated agricultural land problem, damage to birds and beasts, isolation / loneliness problem, education / medical problem. On the other hand, in addition to the nationwide expansion of the “country return” movement to seek new lifestyles in rural areas, especially among the younger generation, in some areas, regional issues are solved by business methods. By doing so, we can see efforts to aim for a sustainable farming, mountain and fishing village. INACOME supports the creation of concrete projects that solve regional issues by matching motivated human resources with abundant resources and issues in the region in order to widely develop such movements and efforts.

In implementing this program, we are looking for entrepreneurs who can create new businesses in the region while cooperating with the local governments in response to the regional issues presented by the local governments in the three regions.

2. Matching desired local government and regional issues

(1) Kitagawa Village, Kochi Prefecture "Promotion of entrepreneurship in the region by creating new businesses"

(2) Sakae Village, Nagano Prefecture "Preservation of Traditional Vegetables and Passing on to the Next Generation"

(3) Hodatsushimizu Town, Ishikawa Prefecture "Securing new farmers and increasing the added value of special products"

For details on regional issues, please check the contents announced by each local government in the three regions at the "Matching Event that Connects Agriculture, Mountain and Fishing Village Areas and Entrepreneurs" held on Wednesday, December 22 from the following sites. Even those who have not participated in the event can apply for this project.
