Kohei Sugiura Launches "Design Cosmos", a website that introduces design archives

Musashino Art University Museum and Library has released a website "Design Cosmos" that introduces the "Kouhei Sugiura Design Archive" owned by the museum.

This site is a collection of three-dimensional visual works of thousands of design works that graphic designer Kohei Sugiura worked with staff for more than half a century. You can freely move and play the works designed by Sugiura floating in outer space.

Click the work image to jump to the details page of the work. Anyone can freely explore, move, select, surprise, play, learn, and enjoy, such as selecting a work from the "work list".

Furthermore, the original book design technique devised by Mr. Sugiura and incorporated into the book design is subdivided into 15 categories and 119 methods to build an index. From that index, it is possible to move to a group of works linked by "design method".

In addition, the detailed pages of each work are accompanied by beautiful illustrations of the work, as well as "explanation of the work" and "explanation of the design method" used in the work.
